No pathogen escapes our analysts

Young children, the elderly and people with compromised health are highly susceptible to food borne infections caused by micro-organisms. It is essential, therefore, that food products for these vulnerable groups are carefully monitored concerning microbiological contamination.

Based on internationally recognised test methods, CLF has developed and validated analytical methods for use in specialised nutrition products. The methods cover the complete range of food-related bacteria. This includes the identification of micro-organisms by means of biochemical and molecular biological methods (environmental and pathogenic contamination). Microbiological tests are carried out on infant formulas, cereals and raw materials (powdered milk, vegetables, fruit and grain).
